Hurriedness!

Hey you guys! I am so sorry for not having posted in a while. Everything has been so topsy turvy around here. I've been trying to finish up my school work and piano and dealing w/ the Christmas stuff... HECTIC! lol WEll, since my last post nothing much has really happened to me. This is my last official week of school though (YEAH ME!!!! .......... ok wayyyy too much Zach and Cody for me)  and hopefully I won't have to take any of my exams. And then I get all new classes mext semester! I'm kinda sad about though. I had fantabulous teachers this semester so I'm kinda dreading next semester. My schedule for next semester is Honors Physical Science, Alg 2 w/ Trig,   Driver's Ed/Health,  and Spanish I. That ought to be interesting.
This year I am doing a lot of charity work at Christmas... normally I just do like a couple of things for kids in the hospital but this year my mom and I did like 20 bags w/ the candy cane story on it and put some candy canes and bracelets in the bags. And I have one box for First Priority and one for FCCLA and we have sponsored people this year too. A lot of money man!
OH!!!! But the best gift of all that (hopefully) my family will be getting is a new car! It will officially be mine in the summer It's a blue 2006 Honda Civic and it is jacked out! A Navigatoinal system, the extra bottom to the car (I don't know what they are called), a tray in the trunk, an ipod jack so that you can listen to the Ipod thru the stereo system and.... best of all... a voice activated system! You can hold down the button and tell the car what to do and it will do it!!!! We were looking at cars this weekend and I have always wanted an Element but when I saw this car I just fell in love!!! And the dashboard is digital! That is awesome lol. Ok well I had better go. I have some other stuff that I need to tend to.... like making my snowman outfit for the youth Christmas party and picking out an outfit for John David's Clue Themed Party (I'm Miss Scarlet lol). Ok I'll ttyl bye!!!!

WOW! LONG TIME NO TYPE!

Wow! It has been almost a month since I have written on here! I'm so sorry you guys! OK lemem see......... i have no idea what my last post is about. My computer has been a terd since the last time I wrote and I haven't had time. I've gone to a bunch of football games this year! We were undefeated 5-0 but we lost two games :( and I hate to say it but homecoming last Friday the band really stank! One of my friends even turned the wrong way to exit the field! Of course he's not too bright anyway so..... lol Desi has gone to a few games w/ me the this year too and that is one of the main reasons I've gone. It's been good.
We are out on fall break right now (thank the heavens). That is one nine weeks past. I came out w/ all A's! and none of them are below are a 94!!! That so totally rocks! Mrs. Collins was definitely my favorite teacher this year. She is like a teenager in a 33 or so year old's body. and she dislocated her toe! OH! that was just gross! She was going into her closet to get a coat and she stubbed her toe on the frame of the door. She looked down and her pinky toe was completely pointing to the side of her foot! Her husband came in and popped it back in place but it still hurt her. She was limping the rest of the week last week and I hope that she found time to go to the doctor over the break.
Every first block class had to decorate their door for homecoming....... our's had a panther lighting a rocket w/ my stuffed bulldog strapped to it w/ fuse all around it! As soon as I could I took the poor dog down and now he rests comfortably on my bed once again lol But it was a pretty good door even though we didn't win :(
Speaking of English class.......... Everyone had to give a report w/ a partner. The report was persuasive advertising. We had to come up with our own product and then advertise for it. Well, Nick and I ( the smartest people in the tenth grade) combined forces and came up with............ THE RADAR REMOTE! ........ ok ok you can stop laughing now. It was actually a pretty good idea! It was a remote that whenever you lost it you could simply press a button and a lil beeper would go off on the remote and you could easily locate it :) So we put it all on poster board and I convinced Nick to do the talking and I would just be Vanna White and hold the poster and help to point to stuff. We did really well and I think that we got a 100.
The last day of school (in honor of homecoming week that last week.... we had had a bunch of activities and themed days like Western Wednesday and Seventies Thursday etc...) we had the Panther Olympics! It was hilarious! We had balloon toss, relays, football throws, piggy back rides, fall festival, hula hoop races, somersault races and the wet t-shirt contest for the guys! (yeah girls get your mind reeling lol) Then we had the Sophomores again the Seniors and the Freshmen again the Juniors in a tug-of-war. The Juniors won again the Freshies and ... well..... lol The Sophs and the Seniors is a different story.......... when we started again the Seniors we all started to pull...... we had to start over. We set the rope on the ground and stood up straight cuz the Seniors kept saying that we were cheating (how can you cheat in a tug-of-war anyways?) and waited 'till the officials said go. Well they said "go" we all bent down and started pulling. There is around 115 of us and only 60 of the Seniors.... we all pull at the same time and then the rope breaks!!! We all go flying thru the air! It hurt when you landed too! Nick's toe went up my butt, Lauren (at least I think it was Lauren) landed on my knee, I slapped someone in the face with my right arm and my left arm went thud on the grass! I really hope that someone got a picture of that for the yearbook!!!
Ok that is all that I feel like typing at this moment cuz my computer is prolly not gonna post this anyways so.... lol I'll talk to all of ya'll later! BYE!!!

Sometimes we don't do things that we want because we don't others to know that we want to do them

You might think this a weird title but it is so true! It comes from the movie "The Village". I can't even begin to describe how true this is. It speaks for itself. Just sit and ponder it a moment then move on.
I took my grad exam. The science one was tough! oh geez! I pray that I passed that thing so that I don't have to worry about it anymore. The math was better. I guess on about 10 of them. Some of them were just plain out stupid! I couldn't care less about what the third measurement on a messed triangle is! I mean I know that "I might use that later in life" but they could at least tell me what field of career that is in so that I can know which career path to avoid!
We had constitution day at school Tuesday. 6-12 grade had to participate in a game. Well, volunteers would participate in this game. The game was basically questions on the Constitution and every grade was given questions ahead of time to study..... except us! Mr.Gillilan ( tenth grade honors history teacher) told us the day of the game about the questions and asked to volunteer! We had to cram for the stupid game in 1 hour while the other grades had 1 week to prepare! Our grade volunteers were Nick, me, Erica, Tyler, Tyler, and Sean lol (yes there were two Tyler's and I only played b/c Nick put my arm in the air and held it there). Nick is like the supergenius of the school. He has photographic memory so that is like cheating but oh well..... at least he is in our grade lol Well anyways....... We survived through the third round but they got us w/ an amendment question..... "which amendment does blah blah blah..." How in the world were we supposed to know?! We had only had 1 hour to study! Oh well... we will win next year. The final round was the sixth grade against the seniors!!!! How bizarre is that?! lol The seniors won but just think of all the rat that the seniors would have gotten if the lil sixth graders had won it lol I would have laughed in their faces lol But that would have been pretty bad.
I also got to dig through a trash can this week :p yuck! We were sitting at lunch and were waiting for our teach to come and get us to go back to class. My table is sitting there talking when Nick gets up from the table and goes to the trash cans...... he never comes back.... I look in a few mins and I see that he is digging through the trash can and then I knew...... he had lost his retainer! So I volunteered to stay behind and help him dig through all the garbage to find his retainer. The rest of the class goes back but Erica and Dusty come back to help also. But it didn't do much good anyway cuz we never found it. I felt so bad for him. He's going Monday to get a new one lol He was so depressed the rest of the day. When we got back to class we started talking just about random things. Caleb and Brandi were talking about something (not the retainer situation) and Caleb misunderstood Brandi and yelled out "What's in the trash can?" and Nick, who is a couple aisles over yells out "My retainer". It was hilarious! But still I can see why Nick was depressed. I would have been too if I had thrown away my retainer.
That just about catches me up to now. We had our first official day of Fall on Wednesday! It felt so good! And the day was just beautiful and spectacular and I had to waste the day in a classroom! It was a total waste but I still enjoyed it evey chance I got. Oh and good job on the sermon Chris! Chris preached on Wednesday night in youth. It was a lil different but that is what made it so good! Ok I'm outie. BYE!

Wow. They have redone xanga again. I kinda like it and yet I kinda don't. Well, nothing really is going on. I have AHSGE next week and I'm kinda dreading it. I've got biology and math (my two worst subjects!!!) I absolutely hate Biology and math is all right as long as I pay attention to what I'm doing and not do wreckless and careless mistakes like I've been known to do my whole life lol  I'm so nervous! Just please pray for me this week!
Desi is coming over tomorrow so that we can go to the football game together and then head over to the drive-in to see Step Up. I have wanted to see that so badly and now I finally get to! Has anyone seen it? I want a review of it lol. While I'm on the subject..... Desi got in a car accident and it totaled her car but she barely got a scratch!!! The Lord is truly good! But then her mom broke her leg :( that was sad but now she can walk again so she is on the mend also
Nothing has really happened in my life since my last entry. I got my progress report and I have all A's! The lowest grade I have is a 94 and that is in math that rocks! I didn't even know that my average was that high in there lol I thought it was like a 91 so apprently I'm good at math now :) We also got out school pics back today :p mine is ok. It's half way decent. I look like I have a fake smile on... which I do but normally when I do a fake smile it looks real lol It fools everyone but this one is Bleh w/ a capital B (thnx for the loan of the word Chris... it's perfect here lol) Oh and I also am now in Sr. Beta instead of Jr. Beta except we haven't formally had the ceremony lol They just said "ok you're in" lol it was funny actually. Well, that just about covers it. If you have any questions....... just ask! ttfn ta ta for now!

Do Your Own Thing

Hey everyone! Ok this entry will be a song that rings true to me. It's a song by Raven lol I know she's not everyone's cup of tea but I really like this song...... here it goes....

"You don't have to be like anybody else
So what's the problem, why can't you be like yourself?
Your individual you might as well let it show
     (ooooo)

Cuz you are beautiful just the way you are
Not everyone has to play the lead of a superstar
Holla back if you're feeling what I'm feeling now
     (ooooo)

You gotta do your own thing!
     Don't be just the same
     Get the party jumping
     The way you like
You gotta do your own thing!
     And dance your own way
     Go a little crazy
     Cuz you got the right

Go home and change your clothes twenty five times a day
Tell the heroes not to come around and bother me
     Know that it's your world
     Go ahead live it up
     (ooooo)

Some call me crazy well I guess I will never understand
I change my hair, my clothes, my style cuz I know I can
Now get up out on the dance floor
      And dance

You gotta do your own thing!
      Don't be just the same
      Get the party jumping
      The way you like
You gotta do your own thing!
      And dance your own way
      You got to make
      What makes you right
I feel on top on the world
You gotta know what you like
All muh fellas and muh girls
     Show who you are tonight
You gotta do your own thing
     Gotta rock your own style
      You gotta live for yourself
       Every once in a while"

That is basicall the song. I really like it cuz it speaks volumes to most teenagers. "You gotta rock your own style" Not anybody else's... just yours.
